Maai® Agents

where do agents fit in your business?

we find out with you, then either turn on a system that already exists or build one around your business.

book a call

Concept rendering.
Illustrative session, not a client engagement.

How it works

one call, then one of three things.

we turn on MOCO

a whole system of agents already running for other businesses. you subscribe.

MOCO

we build you a system

nothing off the shelf fits. we design the agents around your process and run them.

we build the machine too

your files stay in your office. hardware and agent together.

Maai® Machines

sometimes the answer is that it is not worth automating. we will say so.

What we mean by an agent

one agent does a job. a system of them runs an operation.

it does the whole job

an agent runs on a schedule or a trigger, does the work end to end, checks its own output, and tells you what happened. one agent handles one job. several of them sharing a set of skills is a system, and that is what MOCO is.

thin harness, thick skills

the harness is the small loop that decides what to do next, and we keep it small because small things can be tested. the weight sits in the skills: the steps, the standards, and the checks, written down where a person can read them and correct them.

ONE AGENTthe harnessits skillswhere the work livesA SYSTEM OF AGENTSthe work, donethe workcomes in

each agent owns one job and hands off to the next. MOCO is a system of them. when we build for you, we build a system, not a single agent.

Where MOCO ends

MOCO covers the common problems. some of yours will not be common.

MOCO replaces the agency

it runs content and websites for paying clients today, and takes over more of the agency stack as we build. one set of infrastructure underneath, your inputs, your outputs, done for you.

some problems are only yours

when MOCO does not fit, we build for your business instead, using everything we learned building it. here, or on hardware you own at Maai® Machines.

Questions

the ones we get asked first.

what is an agent?+

software that does a whole job rather than a tool you operate. it runs on a schedule or a trigger, finishes the work, checks its own output, and tells you what happened. one agent handles one job. several sharing a set of skills is a system.

how is this different from a chatbot?+

a chatbot waits to be asked. an agent starts on its own, finishes, and stops to ask only when something is genuinely unclear. nobody has to remember to use it.

what if MOCO already does what I need?+

then you subscribe and skip the build. that is the cheapest answer and we will say so on the call rather than selling you something bespoke.

how long does a build take?+

it depends on how the process actually runs and what it has to connect to. we scope it on the call and give you a timeline before you commit to anything.

what does it cost?+

a bespoke system is priced after the call, once we know what is being built. subscribing to MOCO is the cheaper path whenever it fits.

what if the data cannot leave our building?+

then it runs on hardware you own. we design the agents and the machine together through Maai® Machines and install it with you.
